Terms of Use

1. Acceptance
These Terms govern your use of the Meyes application, meyes.app, and related services. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you disagree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Meyes turns an existing video into multiple individually processed versions using technical adjustments and optional visual overlays. Features may change as the product develops. Meyes is not a social network, audience analytics service, or guaranteed growth service.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of videos, images, and other content you import. You are responsible for having the rights to edit, reproduce, export, and distribute it, and for reviewing outputs before publication. Using Meyes does not transfer your content to the developer.
4. Responsible use
You must not use Meyes to violate law, infringe rights, impersonate others, falsely imply endorsement, commit fraud, harass people, distribute prohibited material, interfere with the Service, bypass security, or violate third-party platform rules.
5. Simulated visual effects
Reaction-style elements and avatars are visual effects. They do not represent verified interactions, endorsements, or notifications. You are responsible for the context in which you publish them and must not materially mislead viewers unlawfully.
6. No guarantee of platform outcomes
Meyes can create technically different output files, but does not guarantee that a third-party platform will classify them as original or unique. We do not promise views, reach, engagement, followers, recommendation placement, monetization, or revenue.
7. Third-party platforms
Meyes is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by social networks or other third-party brands unless explicitly stated. Content you publish elsewhere remains subject to that service’s terms and policies.
8. Intellectual property
The Meyes software, interface, branding, and original materials are protected by applicable laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App as intended. You may use lawfully created exports personally or commercially if you hold all necessary rights.
9. Availability and local data
Compatibility and performance depend on the device, iOS version, storage, media format, permissions, and other system conditions. Keep backups of important originals. Removing the App or device data may remove locally stored preferences and files.
10. Fees and updates
Any pricing, purchase, or subscription terms will be presented before purchase and handled under applicable App Store rules. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features subject to applicable law.
11. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses where such limits are lawful. Mandatory consumer rights and liabilities that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
12. Apple terms
If acquired through Apple’s App Store, these Terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or obligated to provide support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of applicable provisions.
